Gail brought charges against Toby Mahler after the was arrested for wine forgery. She later met with him and his lawyer, Allison Adams, where he showed off his impressive palate and knowledge of wines. They then made a deal to retain his exclusive services detecting wide-spread wine forgeries in exchange for not prosecuting his case. ("World's Greatest Judge")
Later, she was informed by Roger Gunn that her wine informant had gone AWOL when he missed a scheduled meeting. ("This is What I Wanted to Say")
